3Welcome to Xcom 2: War of the Chosen β Covert Infiltration. This will be my second season of Xcom 2. Covert Infiltration is a complete overhaul of how the player approaches missions on the strategy layer, made with the intention of keeping compatibility with almost any other mod on the workshop. The main effect of this overhaul is an increase in the number of impactful decisions the player needs to make on the strategy layer.
The settings being used are Legend difficulty, but without Iron-man because of the mods. All deaths are final and no return saves.

TACTICAL GUERRILLA COMBAT: New game-play systems offer more tactical flexibility in combat. Use concealment to ambush enemy patrols. Loot enemies for precious gear and artifacts. Rescue VIPs and save fallen comrades by carrying them to the extraction point.
A NEW BREED OF ENEMY: A diverse cast of enemies from powerful new alien species to the ADVENT, enforcers of the alien regime, offer a distinct tactical challenge.
