Not really a plot twist since we already saw her in an earlier cutscene around chapter 4.

Anyways M isn't too hard in phase 1 but it can be awkward as there are points where she'll just stand still and increase her defense by 99% and she just stands there as your characters randomly take a ton of damage and die... well there's a reason but it won't be explained until phase 2.

Turns out she can jack your mind and you'll get an icon on who is being posessed by her and you'll need to attack them to damage the boss. The posessed party member takes reduced damage while she'll take damage in their place. Topple locking still can work but beware. Going into a chain attack will instantly kill a posessed party member.

That being said notince how you lack a hero for this fight. If you're having too much trouble you can die and choose no to restart the fight.

This will allow you to spawn outside the boss arena and grind against enemies if you want but more importantly you can slot a hero into the team to help you out and this will also help with the boss that follows.

Also another boss with her own theme. I approve.
