Xenoblade Chronicles (2010) was a masterclass Japanese Role-Playing Game (JRPG), released on the Nintendo Wii. It took an entire year for the game to receive an official English localization. Xenoblade Chronicles is a part of the larger Xeno series, pioneered by Testuya Takahashi, that features Xenogears and all the Xenosaga games. The game takes place on the backs of two frozen titans, who struck each other down in a legendary battle eons ago. The story of Xenoblade depicts the struggle between the Mechon, a bloodthirsty race of autonomous machines, and the Homs, a species of humanoid beings.

This video is an in-depth Xenoblade Chronicles critique. In it, I'll be examining everything about the game--the story, characters, music, level design, etc. This video can serve as both a review/critique/analysis/retrospective of Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii and its release on the Switch--Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (DE). Below, you can find timestamps for each section in the video, allowing you to watch the critique in small, digestible chunks.
