Xenoblade Chronicles - The Beginning of the World (SNES remix) (FFVI soundfont)
Of course after I said I'd like to do an SNES remix of this song, I ended up doing it immediately after because it bugged me when I DIDN'T do it. Dammit Chugga, how you made me hooked to the soundtrack I will never know.
First off, I've decided that Xenoblade's Main Theme is gonna be referred to me as 'The Beginning of the World' in reference to its working title. I just think it fits, personally.
I tried to more closely match the song this time and used SNES instruments that fit with the song (piano, pan flute, strings, organ, and bells [of BI-ON-IIIIS], and light timpani that's actually so soft you can hardly hear it). All the instruments are from Final Fantasy VI (III in NA, as you may know), as a tribute to a great SNES RPG that I need to play. Though, let it be known that I don't like its piano selection. I had to split the piano sections apart just so I could make it work. Bluhhhhhh.
