If you've been watching my streams you have already seen my running this pretty much from the beginning of having overlimit. Here is a breakdown of how it works.

Blood Sacrifice

Use this to build TP. It builds 1000 TP at the cost of half of your health, but other skills in this build make this health loss factor viable.

When to use - Out of overdrive - Just use it to build TP so you can start the overdrive chain. During Overdrive - Try to wait until it builds up to at least 2 bar cooldown, that way you can throw it out twice and get a quick 2000 TP to help maintain Overdrive, but be cautious of using it, and always try to use it after putting Ghost Walker on.

Primer - this skill isn't mandatory, but nice, it builds 200 TP and grants Critical Power effect, use it whenever you need TP, or right before you use an attack.

Sliding Slinger - Another skill that's not really mandatory but helps. Builds TP.

Ghost Walker - Must have skill to make this the powerhouse build that it is. Max this skill asap as well, one of the best in the game. It creates decoy, which at max level will nullify up to 6 attacks. You can be essentially immortal with this skill unless it's an enemy that will eat through your 6 blocked attacks quickly.

Upper Hand - Not really mandatory, but helps get more damage out of your DPS skills, use it right before using one of your attack skills.

Violent Streak - Not mandatory, but helps regenerate TP, but only during critical hits, so use it after using one of the critical buff skills

Backslash - One of your DPS skills, in overdrive it recharges very quickly, so wait for it to reach it's tertiary cooldown and throw it out at the enemies back

Electric Surge - Your other DPS skill. The lower your health the higher the damage. This works in conjunction with blood sacrifice.

EDIT

Since this video I've made some modifications to the build. I've ditched upper hand entirely from the build and now bring one of these 2 skills...

Nightstrike - Another good DPS skill, functions similar to backslash.

Hundred Shells - This is a move that takes TP, so you have to manage your TP well to mix it with this, build, but this move doubles as a good DPS move and especially good for building the hit count, since reaching max overdrive will make the bar down significantly slower, this move can help you hit max faster so that managing overdrive becomes easier.

It's a really fast paced build that requires you a lot of multitasking management to run, but yields great results if utilized right. I already have some other builds in the works too which I will show off soon.

Recommended Skills

Hellhound (boosts overdrive duration) Most Important Skill

Mindscape (boosts max TP) Makes it easier to keep the chain going

Red Zone (boosts critical rate during overdrive)

Background Noise (boosts damage when using melee artes from behind)

Fortified Flesh (boosts max HP)

Iron Knuckle (boosts physical Damage)

As far as classes. Drifter is the best because of 5 slots, but right now I do it with whatever class because I'm trying to max them all, just as long as you have 1 slot for increasing overdrive duration, that's all that matters, but you will need to max out full metal jaguar class to be able to use dual guns and swords with any class.

I'm still progressing through the game, so this build is by no means in a definitive format, but as long as you max full metal jaguar, you can run this build which if you're going for it, you should have it maxed by the time you unlock overlimit in the story, and I would say this is one of the earliest "broken" builds you can make in the game.
