After being captured by Aveh, Fei's transport ship is attacked by pirates. Fei escapes a ship that is sinking in the sand only to end up being threatened by a guy that would end up being his future best friend.

To be honest, this scene only sneaks onto the bottom of this list because of Citan's "Feels like you have sacked your saccules, and tickled your utricles enough for one life time!" quote. Two decades later and I still don't know what this means, but I kinda love it.
