Before I go anywhere. No shade intended on this player he just happened to be my last fight before the game's ever-so-lovely anti-cheat decided to randomly boot me for the 4th time in one night. This is for the xbox/gamepass version. Where 2/3 of matches just get booted, and I've largely given up bothering with the PvP side on there due to the issue causing multiple abrupt disconnects for no apparent reason.

On Steam the game just flat out soft locks on players in match/PQ lobbies if their Operating systems are mismatched. Pretty annoying to deal with when any chance of a proper fix can take anywhere from a few months of waiting for another DLC, to as much as 5 years to fix a roster character's broken combo string.....

I totally understand having the anti-cheat. What I don't understand is how for nearly a decade the developers release their content, expect us to pay in-game currency for "exclusive items" but consistently fail to properly test their releases resulting in online busting bugs...

Oh before I forget... My steam account hasn't been able to properly authenticate on the game's server (ghost lobby bug) for more than 3 years. Same issue affects multiple friends on the steam platform. Spent hours running diagnostics so that the developers could try and address the issue more than a year ago. Still waiting for whoever or which ever entity handles the steam port to actually address it, along with their general integration with the steam client. /end_rant...
