In these hours, the design of Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, the new foldable next to its debut, has been unveiled. On the aforementioned device we have read a lot of information but we never really understood what its design could be. Now, however, thanks to a rumor that emerged online, we discover that the terminal could have this aspect.
We know that foldables are the fashion of the moment: there are many mobile phone manufacturers who are realizing their proposals, bringing unique devices to the brand, with premium features and increasingly invisible folds. In addition to Samsung, the queen of the industry, we have Vivo, Huawei, OPPO, Honor, Xiaomi and many other companies will soon join this trend.
Speaking of the latter, we discover that it entered the sector thanks to the Mi Mix Fold presented last year. Now the company is ready to launch the heir that, according to rumors, we read that it could be called Mix Fold 2. On this device we have read so many and now, a report by Kacper Skrzypek of XDA Developers provides us with a first prototype sketch of the gadget.
As mentioned, Skrzypek is part of the XDA team; the related photo in the developer's tweet does not give us the exact details of the elements but is very useful for understanding, vaguely, how the laptop should be made. Nonetheless, we find that the rear photographic module is square in shape and not rectangular.
Internally we find a clean, minimal screen and there is only a small hole for the selfiecam in the center of the panel. The code name of the leaflet is Zizhan and we read that this will have the same display as Umi (the code name of the Mi 10); in a nutshell, there will be a Super AMOLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+. Under the body we could find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor produced by TSMC. The external screen should be 6.5 "and the internal screen should be 8".
