Xin Plays: Clive 'N' Wrench Alpha Demo (PART 2)
0"Oh god" i hear you say in disgust "Xin is gonna bash Clive 'N' Wrench again, just like last time" (which if you missed, here is the old alpha video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qtOJzjTTXU ).
Well i DID say that i would give them a second chance and that if they made another one, that it BETTER be better than the last one.
Good news. IT IS. Completely revamped and updated greatly since then, this Alpha is a HUGE improvement over the atrocity that was the old C&W alpha demo.
Some criticism i made before still applies here, however, such as climbing being a problem (a bit differently now though) and there being no volume slider or mute button. But hey, at least i'm not introduced by a naked Clive this time and at least we get a more original, nicer looking, nicer playing alpha to try out.
Bugs still exists. Some control problems exists. And unfortunately, there's absolutely NO reward for even beating the demo. But hey, this is a step in the right direction at least and THAT is all i asked for. This was their second chance and they earned my thumbs up now with this new alpha.
I still go hard on it. That doesn't change. There's still things i don't like about this. To be expected, i'm not a soft person when it comes to reviewing anything, not even an alpha build. At least i'm not going to write an essay of a review here in the description this time.

I look forward to future progress of this game from DinosaurBytes and i hope he doesn't let me down. And i hope he adds a volume slider next time, because seriously, HOW HARD IS IT TO LET ME NOT GO DEAF?! FIRST WHALES AND NOW FREAKING BOAT MUSIC!
