Yakuza 4 Remastered - Substory: Amon / Amon Clan Fight
47After clearing all substories for each character, returning to Serena as Kiryu will start a scene where Tanimura comes in with a letter from an old enemy, Jo Amon, and he'll leave Serena to head for the fight.
After that, prepare yourself as well as you can, fill your inventory with healing items you might need, equip good gear on everyone, and head to the Underground Parking Lot as Kiryu at night to find a driver next to the Taxi, Akiyama, Saejima and Tanimura will join up and you'll head for the fight.
You'll have to fight four bosses in a row, with a different character for each.
Akiyama VS Kazuya Amon: Kazuya is a very fast fighter who doesn't give many opportunities to strike him, Heat Actions can bring him down, however, and the double kick can exploit his vulnerable phase as he gets up, he doesn't deal too much damage thankfully.
Saejima VS Jiro Amon: The "girly-looking one" is more than a match for Saejima in terms of brute strength, that hammer of his causes explosions when it hits, and deals a lot of damage, he can also recover health, which is stopped by you hitting him or a certain time passing. He doesn't stagger when you hit him, but you can grab him as he recovers from his attacks, that's your best chance to take him down.
Tanimura VS Sango Amon: If you have the full Sacred Tree set on Tanimura, this is a very easy fight, just hit him when he tries to fire at you, he can parry you and throws in a few melee attacks when he's low on health, but is otherwise pretty simple, parry him into walls and hit him there.
Kiryu VS Jo Amon: Now this is the main course here! Jo is a fast and brutal fighter who barely gives any opportunity to strike back, and can't be grabbed in normal circumstances, he also uses grenades to stun you. His quicksteps are usually followed by a punch that can be Komaki Parried, which is your best chance to strike him, easier said than done in the middle of the action though. If you do manage to stun him like that, you can either use the Dragon King Essence or go around and grab him, lower his health to zero with a strong Heat Action and... he'll get two more health bars!
At this point, he'll switch between the three forms of his apprentices, the Kazuya phase is very unsafe to attack, the Jiro phase is the safest if you Komaki Parry his hammer swings, and the Sango phase is relatively safe, go around and hit him in the back when he commits to a long attack.
Once he reaches his last health bar, keep an eye on him, and if you see him reach in his pocket, dodge immediately, because a powerful satellite laser is coming your way!
It'll take some persistence, and maybe some healing items, but eventually, you'll win if you exploit those few opportunities he gives you, wrapping up the last substory of the game!
Overall some very fun fights that really force you to use everything you've leaned to win! Also "Hear This In The Game" is my favorite Amon theme, so badass and intense!
