Yakuza 8 is soon on the horizon and i think the next game should give players the ability to create their own yakuza family member. i think creating your own yakuza member will give players a deeper immersion into the world of yakuza. playing as ichiban and kiryu was great but we played their story for the first time ever playing as your own yakuza member would be exciting.
building relationships would also be a great idea. rising through the ranks of the family would have players feel more connected to the characters that we meet and gives us more of an incentive to do what's right for the family.
A branching story would be ideal. choices that can and will effect the players story can add great replay value. players can have the options of taking down the family or rise through the ranks to become a yakuza oyabun.(yakuza leader)
these are just a few ideas and gameplay wishes i wish to see in yakuza 8!
