Yamaha VSS-200 Keyboard - Tutorial
62Hello everyone.
In the next 3 videos, I will be showing you everything that is on the Yamaha VSS-200 Digital Voice Sampler Keyboard released in 1988 or 1989.
I have bought this Keyboard back in July 2011 on Ebay from the same seller I also bought a job lot of 10 Keyboards from, the job lot of Keyboards were some Yamaha PSS Keyboards, Casio SA Keyboards and some other unbranded Keyboards.
The seller also had this Keyboard listed for £30, so I emailed him after buying the job lot asking if he would put it down in price for me, and he offered to put it down to £25, I thought that is a good price for this Keyboard so I got this one from him as well as the job lot of 10 Keyboards.
The main thing I like on this Keyboard is the Voice Sampling where you can record a sample of your voice or something in the background etc, the sampling only last about 3 seconds but that was still good technology for its time back in 1988 or 1989.
On this video, I'll be doing a Tutorial of the Yamaha VSS-200 going through the Functions & Features and showing you how to use the different Functions & Features so you can get to know how to use the VSS-200 if you have this Keyboard or are thinking of getting one.
There are not that many Features on this Keyboard so this video wont be long, the only main Feature on this Keyboard is the Voice Sampler.
In the next video, I will be showing the 100 voices on this Keyboard.
