So, the time has come. Tbh, it feels easier and more natural to play without crosshairs. When they were there I wasted bullets trying to shoot people with hip fire, and I scoped 90% of the time anyway, and the game gives a sort of Killing Floor feeling for me where there are no crosshairs.

Aside from that, I get a premonition of a giant plot twist, or I'm overthinking things. I'm about 50-50 on that.
