yet another pencil test. archibald is supposed to be a very elastic, vivid, and very rubbery animated character. Very influenced by Tex Avery cartoons, I'm trying to get it right, and it is going to take a long time, but I am enjoying the process.
The old animators used to work with mirrors of their own faces, but I can video tape myself, and pause at any point, and that is an incredible process for me. I don't have to draw the character in reverse to try and get it right. The drawings went rather smooth. 38 drawings. I can do more, too.
We'll see how it goes.
My work is always a work in progress, and never done. I guess I have more fun that way. But then I never make any money, haha.
