369My new 7 second Retro Intro (and possible Outro) Logo, from the 80's.
This took a bit longer to do than I care to admit, . An actual VCR was used, (super VHS).
Process.. Animation was rendered out very high resolution, 4:3 ratio, in HDR
Images were processed and scaled to normal NTSC resolution, a bit of glare was added.
Animation was than authored as a Playable DVD, DVD was recorded onto a Super VHS (JVC). This VHS recorder can record in super VHS mode on normal cassettes, although the metal tapes work better (neither is comparable in quality to modern HD tech). I didn't want the quality to be as Bad as just normal VHS, so i used the highest quality VHS tech that is possible.
VHS animation was played and recorded onto my computer in H264, edited and resampled to 1080p with ZERO regard for aspect ratio.
may add sound effects later.
