Recorded on launch day, this was my first session with the brand new game from Paytonic Games, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair! Featuring lots of death because I'm bad at 2D platformers.

This game is the sequel to 2017's Yooka-Laylee, from the team who is made up of former designers, developers and composers of some of the best ever SNES and Nintendo 64 games, including my all-time favourite, Banjo-Kazooie. This sequel, rather than a B-K homage, is a tribute to the classic 2D platforming style of Donkey Kong Country, and it's an absolute blast.

This is Part 1 of my playthrough of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, taking in the first few levels of the game.
