Yore VR Update 0.3.1.1 - VR Gameplay HTC Vive
14The latest Yore VR update was substantial and the progression system is much improved.
The core gameplay hasn't really changed much. I'm more hopeful for Yore VR but I still don't think it's a $19.99 game yet. However if future updates are like this one, I may end up eating those words.
The notable updates that I noticed:
The majority of your town is gone at the start of the game.
You build your house and can apparently upgrade it later.
You have a basket to squish resources.
Deer have AI now and will run from you.
You should be able to hunt the deer though I'm not sure what this gets you at the moment. Need to unlock the bow again.
Your cart now has a physical presence that interacts with your body.
You have a belt!! Huge quality of life enhancement. You can store tools in a blue bubble to your left hip.
Mr. Bones finishes his quest line and tells you most of the things you need to know to craft an ingot. He neglects to tell you to hit it with the hammer or to pump the bellows the second time but those can be inferred.
I also mention the wipe in the video. Reading after the fact reveals that they changed the structure of the games save system in preparation for multiplayer
PS Sorry about the game sound being so low. Most VR games tend to be rather loud and drown out my voice. I don't have an editor that allows for balancing the tracks after recording so I have to make do with OBSS recordinging with a -dB setting. The sweet spot I've found seems to be overkill for Yore VR. Once again, I apologize for the lacking sound quality here.
