Well, let's count down to 2017 with a flawless run of this game that's almost always counting down from 10 (or 50 in one case).
Fortunately, doing a no-death run wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It only took me 5 attempts following my initial clear to pull it off.
My 4 failures were in 2-7, 2-8, 4-Final, and 3-10, in that order. And, I'll mark where they occurred with red "X" annotations. And yes, I did die right at the final obstacle in one of those attempts (the "X" annotation there will only be shown for a second just before I hit the exit door, due to the scrolling screen).
3-4 could've been a potential trouble level as well, but I never screwed up there on these attempts. Also, remember how I died a lot in 3-3 when trying for the 1-up there? Yeah, not an issue now since I was skipping it (like I should've been initially doing in my first run as well).
Oh, and this was done in well under 5 minutes, so I get the Speedrun achievement too. As for the Artist achievement, I did look that up, and to get it, just press the number keys along the top of the keyboard (the ones just above the letters, NOT the ones in the numpad to the right) on the title screen to change the title's colors, and that's all you need to do. I show that at the end of this video.
