Again stuff ive talked about before, but sometimes you just need to hear it in a different way to make it, make sense. I did that social experiment you could say, or asked in a recent video be honest with yourself... how many of you have actually only played a game because of one thing? Only one reason made you fall in a love with a game. And as the comments showed as a matter of fact that is what happens. Maybe a game is a "bad" game but just like perhaps in real life theres that one thin that makes you come back to said person.
A problem with this occurs though when it makes us lose all sense of reason and rationality. Especially when you think about games are now designed by people who only like one thing. Which wouldnt be to bad IF not everyone.. liked that one same said thing. So of course you have no other perspective other than you your own when you are surrounded by your own echo chamber.
Of course even not exactly related to games, just recently my channel has been getting spammed again by absolute lunatics who really think I did something to max or something evil in the FGC, crazy people who not only hate me, but also hate anyone who says something positive about me, and warn those people about how evil I am and not to fall for my "tricks".
This is the same example of showing how this "love" for someone or something can make you crazy and you dont see the truth.
Maybe you love one part of a game, and thats fine, but if you only love one part of the game, you shouldnt be hired to make a game when you can only see one perspective... And then the fact you have entire TEAMS that one love the same thing. Its no wonder games are the way they are now.
Of course then lets not forget many of these people hired for the game, were hired under a lie and false pretenses as well but weve covered that as well many times already...
