Hello, my name is TheAwesomeHyperon but you can call me Hyperon for short. I'm here to talk to today about imposter channels

The glitchy xRPMx13 clips were from a now deleted Fake SkyDoesMinecraft account. (Yes seriously. It didn't even have a proper name)

In fact, some of my videos like the Drunk Edition ones are from imposters because I try to repurpose the footage

These accounts not only reupload someone else's videos, they take on the creators identity. It's time to put that to an end.

I have subscribed to multiple fakes to keep tabs on them and I picked up a few things they share and I will tell you how to spot someone pretending to be someone else in case your on a platform that won't let you see that check mark that proves a channels authenticity. They may always repeat their names in channel/video descriptions for the same reason

The First sign that something's off is that their channel name is in the title of every video. When people look up a channel they like, the imposter puts their name in the stolen videos do that they show up in search results.

The second sign that's usually (but not always present) is if the channel has a hidden subscription count. They don't want you to notice the small amount of subscribers they have.

The third sign is that the stolen videos themselves are of inferior quality. Some examples include videos with shakiness, no audio unless headphones are in, the footage starting over at some point. This is the result of uploading compressed videos without fixing it
