YouTube - Channels Lack Identity?
0Hi guys, it's time for a new video, and this one is a long one. Well, recently I thought about addressing this in a video, but decided to talk about on DeviantArt first, I'll leave the link in the description when I've finished the typing stuff here. YouTube has been going since 2005, there has been many changes to this site, but the most important thing is their users (YouTubers) who join their site. These people want to share videos, they want to have fun, and in the process create a fan base of their own from their video content. YouTube's channel design at the start provided us with many options, giving us plenty of things to do with how we wanted our channel to look, we had the opportunity to have an Identity, every channel could look different, with all the colours you could use, and different fonts too, not forgetting background wallpapers. Those were the days, but YouTube no longer functions like that anymore............
It's all been stripped away, and what are we left with, a plain boring channel design that nobody can adjust really. There's NO colours, NO Fonts, NO Background wallpaper options. no identity? Do Channels lack identity now? Sure the popular YouTubers can go flat out in making themselves stand out, but you can only do so much with their stupid piece of trash of a channel design, it sucks, it's terrible, it's has nothing appealing about it!
In this video I talk about this, this will not change anything, YouTube will keep the boring channel design, I just felt like I needed to share with you how I feel about this. I've been on this site for nearly 11 years, YouTube's had FAR TOO MANY MAKEOVERS, why can't they give us so fresh options, why we make our channel stand out more, and show we want to be different from other channels. Every channel is the same with the lame channel design. If you read this until the end, thanks so much.
