YouTube Shorts will start to earn ad revenue for eligible channels from the first of February 2023, so in this video I discuss how and why shorts could & might drive subscriber growth, increased views and channel revenue. I also discuss if your YouTube Channel will be eligible, how to become monetized, and the tools you can use to make shorts.
I finish off with some ideas for what type of content you could make shorts about - with my main idea being not to be constrained by what you think a "short" should be, instead think outside of the box and perhaps use themes you already use in your channel, but just kept to 60 seconds!
