Longplay of Ys III for the Sharp X68000 series of home computers.

Ys III is the third installment of the long running Action RPG franchise by Nihon Falcom. Originally released in 1989 for NEC's PC-8801 and 9801 home computer platforms, it eventually spread to most other Japanese computers of the day, as well as the then contemporary consoles.

The story takes place a while after the incident in Celceta (Ys IV Mask of the Sun / Ys Memories of Celceta). Adol and his partner Dogi return to Redmont, Dogi's hometown, to find everything has gone afoul. A more modern version of this game with an updated story and gameplay mechanics are available on PC and PSP under the name Ys: The Oath in Felghana.
