Over half a year since I last played it *and* I stopped before a boss fight, so I had that going for me. Every time I play a Ys game (last time it was Celceta, this time Seven), I have an urge to replay all the other ones I've already played (all except V and IX now), so I came back to this.

On the other hand, I changed the controls from the default so that they weren't so wild (pause on right thumb stick, which is interesting).

I didn't have as much trouble as I was worried about.
