Ys VIII - Nameless (Inferno Adol Only)
0I think older translations for this game Weissman's name was a bit different. My first thought when I see that name is usually a faceless priest. I also want to mention that I decided to just upload the raw file. Probably won't do that for all the videos I get because of how big those videos can get. Most of the time I upload stuff, I use scripts I have for ffmpeg to reduce the file size. It wasn't until these runs that I noticed a pretty drastic decrease in video quality for the smaller video. Everything else I've done I didn't notice the decrease in quality.
As for the fight itself, my party was not helping here even if they have pretty much been doing nothing for this run. Given how small of a target this boss is, having Laxia and Sahad on screen kind of makes it a bit difficult to read his attacks. The boss being quick and erratic doesn't help so I had to rely on lock-on to track him. I actually had to wait about 20 or so seconds for him to stop throwing wires all over the place. Human bosses in this series tend to give me a lot of trouble. Ate some food that raises my attack and defense just to be on the safe side.
I do want to mention that I had to redo this fight since the game kind of crashed on me when I tabbed out just to make sure the recording was there. I think I got rather lucky with how this attempt turned out.
