Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection Dungeon Dice Monsters Guide: Strike Ninja Movement, Time Wizard
Just a few recommendations, with some unlocked dice I have at the end.
1) Using anything with 2 movement or attack crests on dice faces helps more than getting multiples on 1.
2) Strike Ninja and Knight of Twin Swords have movement advantages that make up for the game's stagnant flow as you're not guaranteed movement or attacks, and can get stuck. I moved 9 squares with strike ninja, having only 3 movement crests, and didn't have to waste turns rolling for anything but attack crests.
3) Time Wizard can remove a weak monster in your way, with Yaranzo Crest Swapping, which you wanna get rid of 3 useless crests for a game winner, especially with enhanced movement.
4) Level 4 dice are terrible, with needing 2 (3 are rolled) to get a 1/6 chance for each landing to summon. Couple that with flying like Blue-Eyes (they call eye) White Dragon costing 2 movement crests to fly for avoiding non flying monsters (and you can't go out of bounds for fast movement), and you will simply lose.
5) Battle Warrior gets you a free attack crest upon summoning, which is as close to automation as you can get.
6) Items may help, but double check the crests on the dice faces so they can get a better chance of a good roll (warp vortex needs 2 to work, and I wouldn't recommend given the 15 dice limit).
7) Dimension the dice (needs 2 summon crests of the same level with the 3 dice rolled) with r (L doesn't turn left) to rotate and start/select to shift formations and attach from your board to your opponent's, with speedy monsters not having to go through the whole board nor be interrupted (I had yaranzo move so strike ninja can go after the die master in an unrecorded part, and it helps to block retreating monsters) being 2nd or 3rd summons.
If all else fails, it's OK to rewind a whiffed attack (up to a minute), though unfortunately, you will reroll the same results with chosen dice, so crest rolling may be worse than just aiming for a summon with dice that have 2 movement/attack crests. But at least you get different results if you change dice, which helps as the game is time consuming.
The game may be easier unlocking all cards, but there's no way I find this playable otherwise.
