Our heroes' greatest foes have been defeated, but they're crafty. Fearing the return of these creatures, CrossFlux and BrokenIdeas have decided to brave the fabled path known only as the Crossroads of Chaos in an attempt to make sure the Phantom Darkness and Light of Destruction have left our realm for good.

Hey there folks, CrossFlux and BrokenIdeas with a completely new project for you! This may not be video game related, but it is still a fun game.
We both love YuGiOh and I was recently inspired by Cimoooooooo's own Yu-Gi-Oh Progression Series on YouTube. I really wanted to do something like that myself, so I made a few tweaks and here we are.

A quick run down for how this series is going to work (you can also watch Part 0 of our series for a more in depth explanation).
The goal of this series is to have fun by watching how YuGiOh changed over time. We do this by having an "evolving" deck.
Each episode we'll open a booster box from the next set of TCG boosters; starting with Legend of Blue Eyes, followed by
Metal Raiders, and so on. Once we open all 24 packs, we construct a deck using our new cards (including our previous
"inventory"). The winner of a Match (or best 2 out of 3 games) will earn a Win on the Scoreboard.
The Loser will earn 1 "Pity Point". In between episodes, these Pity Points can be used to give that duelist an edge.
This may seem like a backwards concept - I mean, shouldn't the WINNER get a currency as a reward? Well, if that were the
case, then a few early wins could result in a snowball that's impossible beat (outside of crazy luck). Besides, the
Winner does earn something for winning...well...a WIN on the scoreboard.
Thus. the Loser earning a Pity Point helps to prevent one of us from snowballing out of control and allowing each of us
to stay competitive amongst each other.

This is a banlist that we'll be using for this episode:
December 2008

Current Scoreboard:
CrossFlux - 19 Wins, 3 PP
BrokenIdeas - 9 Wins, 8 PP

Also a special thanks to the guy who inspired this series, please check out Alex Cimo's YouTube channel. If you love our Progression series, then I know you'll enjoy his as well!
