Small video that documents printing of "Z-Hop based torture test" made by "lost in tech" guy. Build took roughly 12 minutes with top bridges build 2mm/s -- in this pace you can build horizontal surfaces in air with ease.

Equipement used: heavilly modiffied Ender3
bed surface : glass 70/65deg celsius temperature
material : Creality hyper PLA white 235/240 deg celsius
nozzle : 0.4mm "CHT like" ; 2 perimeters and 3 horizontal planes ; 0.25mm layer height

Both variants printed without failure on first attempt, so my conclusion about weak adhession is:
-clean your bed surface
-rise bed temperature -- for me it is better to lay first layer to hotter bed and afterwards cool down a bit
-properly setup Z offset -- bit tighter is way better for adhession
-print little hotter -- try 10deg increment
