I was offered the chance to play zakk hazard and it looked an interesting retro inspired action platformer, and whilst it starts out quite easy enough don't let that fool you as this quickly becomes very challenging with me referencing it as the dark souls of retro action platformers as especially the first boss is so difficult alone but the challenges only ramp up from there as the game becomes a very difficult game to master, an interesting twist for those who want something a little more difficult with their retro action platformers, with some horror vibes and narrative thrown in for good measure as well as secret levels to discover.
