Zanbamon Is Not So Tough... (Jungle Grave, Digimon World 2003)
2Welcome to Digimon World 2003. When you go to the South Sector for the first time you are initially unable to make it to the Suzaku City because of Zanbamon blocking your way at the Jungle Grave. He challenges you to a battle which always seems to end with you running away. Usually you strike first and do minimal damage to him. He then attacks you and does substantial damage, resulting in you fleeing. You then have to consult Sepikmon about Zanbamon. Sepikmon agrees to help you if you find his mask for him. When you find his mask he gives you a Smelly Herb in return. The smell of the Smelly Herb causes Zanbamon to run away, enabling you to access the Suzaku City. You then have the option of battling Zanbamon at the Jungle Shrine, and are presented with a Rusty Katana if you defeat him. You are able to defeat him at the Jungle Shrine but the game seems to be scripted so that you can't defeat him at the Jungle Grave.

The battle with Zanbamon is programmed so that he reduces your HP by about 70% when he attacks you. To clarify, that's 70% of your current amount of HP; not 70% of how much HP you would have if your HP was full. If your HP is 1000/1000 then the attack would do 70% of 1000. If your HP is 500/1000 then the attack would do 70% of 500 and not 70% of 1000. In this video I entered the battle against Zanbamon with just 1 HP. Zanbamon's attack should've done about 0.7 damage, but it looks like it got rounded down to 0. So the almighty Zanbamon did a very underwhelming 0 damage from his attack.
