I continue my play through of Zombicide: Black Plague.

To help you learn the game better I stole some things from a BGG thread of unofficial FAQ/ mistakes. I noted I made a few of these so thought they were useful.

Mistake: Assuming Necromancers are safe when all Spawn Zones are in one Zone.
Correct: There is a special clause in the rules that allows Necromancers to escape via their starting Zone only in this scenario.

Mistake: Throwing a Torch or Dragon Bile from the backpack.
Correct: Both the Torch and Dragon Bile Equipment cards have the Hand icon, so they can only be used while equipped. Once either is used (hence discarded), you will need to use a Rearrange/Trade action or Search action to put something back into the now empty hand.

Mistake: Assuming an Enchantment Action is a Magic Action.
Correct: Magic Actions only cover use of Combat Spells. Using Enchantments can only be performed via an Enchantment action.
Mistake: Rerolling only failed dice with Shield/Plenty of Bolts/Plenty of Arrows/etc.
Correct: All of these give you a chance to reroll all of your dice. This means you can't pick and choose, you either reroll all the dice you rolled or reroll none of them. If the second result is worse than the first, you must accept it too.
Mistake: Resolving zombie hits one by one to the survivors. (Eg trying to block as many hits with armor rolls as you go.)
Correct: determining which survivors takes X amount of hits prior to any armor rolls.

Mistake: rolling multiple dice to attack a zone, and only thinking it's ONE success no matter how many dice hit.

Correct: Each hit inflicts the amount of Damage specified by the Damage value of the weapon to a single target.
