Zelda Ocarina Of Time - The Uber Challenge RULES & EXPLANATIONS
48Here I explain each Rule of the Zelda OOT Uber Challenge in detail to avoid confusion and describe how I can handle said rules. All Rules will be noted in each episode description for easy reference, and I'm not going into detail of the game as I've already done a 100% walkthrough on this game.

UBER CHALLENGE RULES:
Required Rule) Never grab any Heart Containers or Heart Pieces. Your maximum hearts must stay at the starting amount of 3.
Optional Rule 1) Never upgrade your maximum item ammo. This includes Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, Deku Seeds, Bombs & Arrows.
Optional Rule 2) Never obtain any bottles EXCEPT the bottle with Ruto's Letter as it is required to completing the game.
Optional Rule 3) Never extend your Magic Meter to twice its size. The normal small Magic Meter is required to completing the game.
Optional Rule 4) Never obtain the Defence Upgrade. This is the white shell outline around your hearts that reduces damage by 50%.
Optional Rule 5) Do not obtain the Biggoron Sword. It does double damage and to increase difficulty this cannot be used.
Optional Rule 6) Do not collect any Gold Skulltula Tokens, to avoid obtaining the given upgrades. This stops you buying the Giant's Knife.
Optional Rule 7) Never obtain Nayru's Love for its invincibility effect, or Farore's Wind to warp out of dungeons quickly when in danger.
Optional Rule 8) Never put anything in the bottle as potions can heal. Ruto's Letter, a Fish & Blue Fire are required to completing the game.
Optional Rule 9) If you lose your shield, you cannot buy another. You can find replacements in chests which are allowed.
Optional Rule 10) You cannot obtain the Hylian Shield as a child. This is to make Death Mountain harder if you lose your only Deku Shield.
Optional Rule 11) Don't obtain Epona. She makes you invincible and move faster while travelling, which can reduce difficulty.
Optional Rule 12) Finish with a death count of 000. You are allowed to Save before death and reset, and this makes you redo what you did.
Optional Rule 13) Never learn the Sun's Song, as some locations can give you "Full Heal Gold Fairies" and freeze ReDeads.
Optional Rule 14) Never obtain the Fire or Ice Arrows. It's believed that Fire Arrows are required to complete the game, but it's false.
Optional Rule 15) Never plant the Magic Beans. This is to avoid you using them for shortcuts which could save time and health.
Optional Rule 16) Never do the Happy Mask Side-Quest. The Spooky Mask when equipped stops Stalchilds from attacking you.
