Zelda: OoT Multiworld Randomizer (Me, Autumn, Martin, Joel) - Part 1
29This isn't a typical randomizer, and it's not a race. A multiworld randomizer does what it normally does - takes all the items in the game and shuffles them around - but it does this with multiple copies of the game, which are linked together through a server. Any item that a player collects has a chance of belonging to any other player. It's possible to have no way to progress until someone else finds a key item that you need to access more parts of the game. So it's basically a cooperative effort to get everyone to finish.
This was originally streamed on December 30th, 2020. It didn't quite take me a whole year to finally get around to uploading it, so that's something! Basically I just needed to edit in Martin's footage, which is not a complicated process, but I didn't have any editing software for a while, and then I eventually did but didn't know how to use it, and then got lazy, and then had trouble rendering, and now I need to be done having excuses.
Some of the streams went for quite a long time, so I'm splitting a few up into smaller chunks. This first one was originally five hours, so this is just the first half. The cutoff point is kind of abrupt, but since everyone is progressing at a different rate, it's hard to pick a good stopping point.
