So... does this mean Skyloft in BiT is not really Skyloft but a psuedo-version? Normally I can fly underneath the clouds on a normal file before the races...

To load a map in BiT daylight:
1) Select the file you wish to load, then exit.
2) Save at a statue over an EMPTY FILE (has to be blank)
3) Collect any item
4) Die
5) Continue to respawn in loaded map in BiT

Why does this happen? Because saving over a blank file at a statue sets up a BiT save point. Normally you would crash the game by dying because BiT has no saved point in it's data! (Also, saving over a blank file activates the B button)

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOUR FILE IS SAVED IN SKYLOFT TO LOAD THE MAP! Anywhere else may result in accidentally activating cutscenes after dying.

I used a file that was saved after freeing the bird to fly around, and then I could select my completed file if I wish (not necessary).

Um, still trying to figure out how to jump off the bird, I pressed DOWN, but it wouldn't let me enter. Perhaps the down button on the D-Pad is locked because it thinks I haven't left Skyloft (or I need to get the tablet on my file after freeing the bird using BiT).
