Previously, at the top of the Temple of Time, Link defeated the Dark Nut and claimed the dungeon's treasure, the Dominion Rod. He used it to take control of the Guardian Statue and began guiding it downstairs toward the entrance. He got it as far as the scale room.

Ooccoo Jr. takes Link back to the scale room on the seventh floor (time 0:36). Link must now guide the Guardian Statue across the scales. First, he goes to the northern side to appropriate a couple more head statues. Four head statues are equal in weight to the Guardian Statue. By moving things around, Link first gets the Guardian Statue on the southern platter and then to the northern platter.

When Link gets the statue down to the main floor on 6F, he hammers the spider infestation. Then, he loads the Guardian Statue into the bell (time 4:19). The bell transfers the statue to the fifth floor.

So, Link exits west (time 4:35). He goes down to 5F. Since he left the dungeon, the Dinolfols and Lizalfos in this area have returned. The Guardian Statue can smash the sliding wall panels, and it can also smash the enemies.

Link can direct the statue onto the switch to lower the electric field (time 6:06). There are also head statues beyond the field that he can control for this purpose.

Behind the fence, there is a chest containing Piece of Heart #35 (time 6:20). Yay! Link now has 15 Heart Containers.

Next, Link guides the Guardian Statue north and then east through the room, all the while smashing enemies and walls. In the eastern part of the room, he loads the statue into the bell (time 8:30). The bell transfers the statue to the large circular room.

Link returns south to the large circular room on the fifth floor (time 8:44). Before "collecting" him, Link goes through the procedure to return to the southern room by weighing the southern switches with head statues.

Link returns to the southern room on 5F (time 10:08). This room has become infested with Cyclops Skulltulas and Mini Skulltulas. Ew.

After clearing them out, Link makes use of the head statues (time 10:59). He first takes one upstairs and throws it east into the fenced-off area. Then, he controls it with the Dominion Rod and guides it down onto a switch. In the western fenced-off area, there is already a head statue to take control of and guide onto another switch. This reveals a chest in the eastern alcove.

The chest in the eastern alcove contains Piece of Heart #36 (time 11:50). Whee-ha!

Link returns to the north (time 12:25). On the elevator, he turns the gear clockwise to raise it a level. Then, he can take control of the elevator and guide it onto the elevator.

Afterwards, he descends two levels to the third floor (time 13:22). He is in an enclosed central area loaded with Mini Skulltulas. Guardian Statue smash! Clobbering all the Mini Skulltulas in the pit lowers the eastern electric field. Then, the Guardian Statue can be sent out to clear out any Lizalfos that may have returned.

In the west of the third floor, a Poe is hiding behind a fence (time 15:56). Link can take control of a head statue atop a nearby ledge and direct it onto the switch in the Poe's room. Then, wolf Link can defeat the Poe to obtain Poe's Soul #53.

The Guardian Statue can also smash the northeastern Beamos, but this reveals a nest of Mini Skulltulas.

Then, Link must use the Guardian Statue to smash the northern gate and then load the statue into the bell (time 17:26). The statue is transferred to the hall to the east.

Link returns east to the hall (time 17:43). After clearing out any respawned enemies, Link can take control of the Guardian Statue with the Dominion Rod.

He walks the statue down to the second floor (time 19:48). The statue can easily smash the gates along the way.

Finally, he guides the statue into the last bell (time 20:33). It is transferred to the entrance hall.

Link returns to the entrance hall (time 20:45). Jumping down to the first floor, he takes control of the statue. He guides it into the recess to the west of the northern door (time 21:23). This opens up the Door of Time! It's about time!

Before going north, Link heads south and returns to the Sacred Grove (time 21:47).

In the south, he can move the western owl statue to reveal a Poe (time 22:15). Defeating it, he acquires Poe's Soul #54.
