Previously, after clearing the Temple of Time, Link visited Renado in Kakariko Village. Renado has a plan on restoring Ilia's memory, so he has given Link a letter to deliver to Telma in Telma's Bar. Also, Link finished delivering all 24 Golden Bugs to Agitha, and she rewarded him with the Giant Wallet, which can hold up to 1,000 Rupees.

Link heads over to Telma's Bar in Castle Town (time 1:14). There, he gives Renado's Letter to Telma. The one who brought Ilia to the bar was the Doctor, but Link may have some difficulty getting him to talk. Telma gives Link the Invoice to help loosen the Doctor's lips. I guess the Doctor hasn't been paying his bill!

On the East Road, Link finds the Medical Clinic (time 3:36). The Doctor starts out a bit cagey. Then, Link shows him the Invoice (time 4:40). Apparently, Ilia had a Wooden Statue on her person, and the Doctor "lifted" it in hopes of getting some money. Unfortunately for him, he spilled some medicine on it, and someone else stole it after he had put it outside to dry. I'm not feeling too sorry for him. If Link talks to him again, the Doctor will mention a medicine stench. Hm...

In the back of the building, Link can move a crate aside (time 6:10). It will expose a scent that he can sniff as a wolf. This will let him learn the Medicine Scent. This will lead him up onto the eastern wall and then outside.

Out on the balcony, he can find a chest that contains a Red Rupee, worth 20 R (time 7:01).

The scent trail guides Link south to the area south of Telma's Bar. There, he will find Telma's lovely cat, Louise (time 7:39). Louise is the one who took the Wooden Statue, but then some skeletal dog beasts attacked her outside the town's southern gate. The skeletal dogs only appear at night. Link will have to defeat the whole pack to recover the statue.

Then, Link heads out the southern gate (time 8:55). As night falls, the skeletal dogs appear along the road through the field (time 11:54). Midna's charge attack while Link is in wolf form can take them out quickly.

After the whole pack is defeated, the Wooden Statue appears (time 12:17). Yay, finally! It is an intriguing little carving. The eye on top is the Sheikah crest from Ocarina of Time. Link can show this to the crusty old Doctor for another humorous reaction.

Afterwards, Link warps to Kakariko Village (time 15:38). In Renado's sanctuary, he shows the Wooden Statue to Ilia (time 16:33). Ilia's memory does not completely come back, but she does remember that she was held prisoner somewhere. The person who was confined with her saved her and gave her the Wooden Statue. Gor Amoto recognizes the Wooden Statue as something made by the tribe that once protected the Hylian royal family. This is the Sheikah tribe. Their Hidden Village is along a path leading towards the Lanayru Province on the northern side of the Bridge of Eldin. A rockslide blocked the way to the village, but Darbus will go up there to clear the way.

When the scene is over, Link warps to the Bridge of Eldin to the north (time 19:20). It helps if he has restored this bridge by bringing back the bridge section from the southwestern plateau in the Gerudo Desert. On the way north, be careful of Bokoblin archers.

Past the wooden bridge, he can now turn south and go through the cleared pass to the Hidden Village (time 21:43). As Link approaches, Darbus finishes clearing the last of the rockslide (time 22:08). He believes that there is a gang of 20 enemies hiding in the village ahead.

Link continues on and enters the Hidden Village (time 23:20). Looks kind of like an old wild west town! Time to clear 20 Bokoblins out of town. The Hero's Bow and the Hawkeye will let Link safely take out many from a distance, including some on the road, on the balconies, and atop buildings. In the southwest building, a couple can be shot through the windows.

Once all 20 Bokoblins are defeated, a little old lady will emerge from the southern building (time 27:42). When Link approaches, she introduces herself as Impaz. She is most likely named after the Impa in Ocarina of Time. Impaz's duty is to wait until a certain person arrives. She gives Ilia's Charm to Link so that he can return it to Ilia. Hopefully, this is the final link to restoring Ilia's memory!

Next time, Link will take Ilia's Charm back to its owner.
