This is a test video for Zelda's Adventure on Game Boy. More to come later.

You read that headline correctly. There was a Philips CD-i, a non-Nintendo console, version of a Legend of Zelda game. There was a couple, and a Mario game as well. This was a compromise between Nintendo and Philips over the CD-ROM attachment for the Super Nintendo not getting made (and they inadvertently drug Sony into gaming, changing everything). Now, none of these games for the CD-i were really any good, they all stunk for different reasons. Hopefully with the port to the Game Boy we can mark Zelda’s Adventure as decent.
