AMDs latest and greatest Zen 5 CPUs in the 9700X and 9600X were just released, and the performance is underwhelming to put it lightly. At this rate I highly suggest either buying a 7800X3D, or waiting for the 9800X3D, or even considering Arrow Lake from Intel. One thing is clear. So far Ryzen 9000 appears to look like a poor performance upgrade and bad investment for gamers.
