Former Zen Architect Jim Keller had some interesting insights today, as he revealed his projections on Zen 5 performance targets, which are CRAZY. We examine the IPC and integer info for Ryzen 8000, and how this new leaked info lines up with our sources and previous leaks surrounding Zen 5 CPUs. But just what do the IPC and integer performance targets mean for Zen 5's gaming and workload performance? And will it be enough to compete with Intel? They came out swinging with Raptor Lake, and they won't let AMD just take the PC gaming processor crown back easily with Ryzen 8000 processors. But alongside the beefed up specs and performance, just what kind of price vs performance value can we expect?
We also have a "confirmation" of the RTX 4070 by Nvidia, as well as an official benchmark showing off Nvidia Reflex and the RTX 4070 in Counter Strike 2. The hardware specifications and everything else is pretty much known about the RTX 4070, but Nvidia has yet to confirm the MSRP price for the RTX 40 GPU.
