Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action RPG developed by HoYoverse.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic futuristic city called New Eridu. Creatures called Ethereals have infiltrated the human world through portals called Caverns and have wiped out most of humanity. However, a group of survivors created a bastion against the invaders—New Eridu—and managed to resist the invasion by harvesting Ethereal technology and resources.
The gameplay features an in-game time system that divides the day into four periods: morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The player controls a character called a Proxy, who helps others explore hostile alternate dimensions. As the game progresses, the protagonist (heroine) recruits new members to join their team to fight Ethereals and other enemies.

The game features assistants called Banbu. Combining the abilities of various characters and Banbu allows you to increase damage and perform attack combinations.

In addition to the main story quests, the game features a wealth of additional content that allows you to further immerse yourself in the world and earn rewards.
