Anyway...
The first thing I noticed with Ouroboros was its hurtbox. Some of Lailah's artes tend to extend through the snake's body and whiff completely, which ruined many takes I assure you. Other than that... it's pretty unremarkable. I made use of Spell Cancelling here so that I could keep track of where I was in the arte tree, which was a big issue I ran into with Lailah. This problem was further exacerbated by the previously mentioned issue with artes not connecting, so the wrong arte being used could lead to a defeat due to a dropped combo.
I had some funky lag while playing, so sometimes you'll see me backstep randomly in the middle of a combo. That's me trying to use Lightning Blast (which is set to B+down) but failing to input it correctly. It ended up shaping some pretty neat chains though, so it didn't really ruin anything in this particular take. I used Lightning Blast as opposed to Photon Blaze (set to neutral B) since its cast time is longer, giving me more time to actually cancel the spell. I tried using Photon Blaze for SC'ing but most of the time the spell would be cast almost instantly, which is a bit too fast for my liking. The lesson I learned? Map Lightning Blast to neutral B in the future.
I quite like Lailah now that I've given her a proper shot in a solo setting. Already looking forward to her next boss.
