Zilog and Moto - Episode 27: Joe Montana Football - Genesis
5This episode was a labor of love. I don't know why, but I could not get through the script for the first section of the video. It's pretty common to have to do two or three takes, but I was sitting on about 8 before I finally got it to where it was good enough for me to let it go.
What we have here is a review of a game that wasn't a launch title for the Genesis, but it's still pretty iconic as far as the early years of the system goes. For five years, which ironically was about the time he retired from the NFL, Joe Montana would star in Sega's answer to John Madden Football, and be a large part of why the Genesis was known as a sports game system. And the games weren't bad either!
