Zoids Legacy (known as Zoids Saga 2 in the Japanese version) is a Video Game based on the Zoids Franchise. It is the second game in the otherwise Japanese-only Zoids Saga Video Game series.

The games of the Zoids Saga series are party-based role-playing games and involve the player character leading a team of Zoid pilots. The party moves around the overworld and through the dungeons, fighting off wild Zoids and enemy pilots as the player attempts to complete the game. The player is responsible for constructing the various Zoids available from captured technical data, assigning the pilots in his party to the Zoids, and organizing them in a battle formation.

Combat is turn-based, and occurs on two opposing two by three grids, one for the player, the other for the enemy. Six of the player's Zoids (previously organized into the two by three battle formation) are deployed, and the player must use a combination of the Zoids' weapons, pilot skills, and special orders (deck commands) to defeat the enemy.

In Zoids Saga II, the world of Zi is warped by an accident involving the Time-Space Transmission unit, merging the timelines so that the first three anime, Zoids VS, Liger Silver Beast, and the events directly after the first Zoids Saga game are all occurring simultaneously. The game follows 'Zeru' and Juno as they attempt to foil the efforts of the Backdraft Group and the Terra Geist organization, along with restoring the timelines to their original states.

Several improvements to the gameplay were made in Zoids Saga II. Enemy groups of Zoids were no longer visible on the overworld or dungeon maps, such battles becoming random encounters, and movement on the overworld and in the dungeons was upgraded to 8 directions.

Despite said amount of info, there's not enough information about this game. Also...shield ability in some zoids is weaker in this game than the anime counterpart (At least as long as you have Energy, the shield stays on). Next...this will be one of the entire mecha series with the worst translation errors you can ever see. I'm sorry, sometimes...Town becomes Towm, tournament becomes tourmanent (Seriously?), some dialogues just make no sense, some explanation of both zoids and deck command make no sense either, database translation of characters looks like it was translated by a person who aren't fluent in Japanese (The least they could have done is make the wording easy to understand), lastly....by the holy mother of hell the battle dialogue has the most absurd translation (Ahem....localization on Alster's battle dialogue made him sounds like what you expect of wild kid with masochistic side. Wait till you get him to temporarily join you).

I know I enjoyed this game but back when I had no knowledge in English, I just enjoy playing the game for no reason other than the debut of characters from different games and anime. Just when I get a better grip in speaking English, I cried at how horrible the translatio in is for this game
