Zombie Virus PS2 Gameplay (Essential Games / D3)
271Zombie Virus is another obscure PS2 title to come from D3 publisher under the Esential Games label. With the world in chaos over a Zombie outbreak, your job is to go out and rescue survivors in your trusty ambulance.
The mid game animations are simple, and spew out budget title and once you enter the actual gameplay your presented with what is essentially just a game of to-and-fro, making you keep returning to the hospital far too many times for your liking.
Im not saying it was a terrible game, but i was expecting something that drew you into the storyline. I get the sense it was a game created after playing the N64 Carmageddeon! and is the type of game that can be compared to crazy taxi if you ignore the storyline.
Running over zombies will gain you extra time, aswel as perform some crazy combos, and the hospital area allows you to upgrade your weapons and vehicle, theres quite a lot to do in the game, but actually doing it is just submitting yourself to too much of the same thing, the game lacks the variety it needed to make it a hit.
Its still a great title to own due to its obscurity and nature of the game. But if your looking for a gameplay that will keep you glued to the screen, then you wont find it here. Its more of game youd play for a hour with friends just for the comedy values.
