About Francissca Peter
Celebrating 48 years in music, Fran is an artiste, composer, lyricist, vocal stylist, coach, and judge. She is also the Child Sponsorship Ambassador for World Vision Malaysia, now in her 21st year, advocating for children and families in poverty. Known as Ikon Perpaduan and The Fundraising Queen, she has built a strong public presence beyond music.
Her career includes over twenty No. 1 hits, more than 30 charting songs, and five consecutive “Best Female Vocalist” wins. She has released over 30 albums, earning five Platinum and two Gold records.
Fran has received major national recognition, including the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which carries the title Dato’, and a Lifetime Achievement Award at Anugerah Bintang Popular. She was also listed in Malaysia’s 100 Women of Influence and received The Iron Lady Award.
Her milestones include winning Juara Lagu 1986 with Sekadar di Pinggiran and the ASEAN Song Festival 1987. She remains active in mentoring and community work today
