About Video Games And The World
Video Games and the World is a webseries that focuses on video games, their history and origins, history of consoles and game franchises and also on how video games emulate real life, history, culture, society and more. This also will include the debunking of myths of video games being something negative according to many groups of people.
My inspiration for Video Games and the World came from watching Jane McGonigal's talk on video games and also from YouTubers such as The Game Theorists, Gaming Historian and many more.
Video Games are often considered a waste of time and money but some people, but as a matter a fact, video games have often made positive influences in many lives as they taught various life lessons. For example; whenever things seem to go south in real life, we always try again and again. Almost like when you get a game over, you are offered the chance to try again which is good. In real life, you fail in many things but also you try again.
