About Toxikk Deception
Toxikk Deception is an electro-industrial solo project based in Bangor, Maine. The project was created in 2014 by lead vocalist, musician, and producer Violet Mallory, and has featured members from her multiple side projects; such as Red Acid and her now female fronted Mimikk project, featuring Kimberly Kornmeier of the EBM band "Bow Ever Down" on vocals.
Her music is described as dark, aggressive and psychedelic, and fuses many genres together. Song topics generally consist of darker themed subjects. The project started in Fall of 2014 and is led by core member Violet Mallory. Violet is the producer, instrumentalist, composer, vocalist, and writer. DSBP Records makes and distributes the CDs + merch. She has released over 10 albums and was featured on 15 various Record Label Sampler CDs including a Metropolis Records compilation, and remixes.
