About Ryley Heppner
My passion for studying the Scriptures began with a single college course on the Gospel of John, where I first saw how historical context and critical thinking could strengthen—rather than threaten—my faith. That class sparked a lifelong commitment to studying God’s Word and to helping others grow in their biblical understanding, theological depth, and cultural discernment.
Over the past 15 years, I have served in church planting, pastoral leadership, academics and action sports ministry. I hold a BA in Biblical Studies, two master’s degrees in New Testament Studies, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in New Testament Studies.
Among other things, I serve as a speaker with Outreach Inc and Apologetics Canada, addressing topics such as biblical reliability, discipleship, and navigating faith in a post-Christian world.
