It's never too late to become a builder... a Lego® builder that is! As one of five girls in a lower class family, we never had Lego® growing up, but I have (very easily) learnt to love the joys it can bring. Now, with 4 kids myself, who are Autistic and ADHD, Lego® has become a big part of our lives. It is used in our family to encourage creativity, thought, role-play, teaching, relaxation, memory, fun, joy, socialisation, problem solving and just about anything else you can think of. Building brings a sense of accomplishment and wonder at the many characters, vehicles and buildings that rise from a pile of multi-coloured rubble. It's not only my kids who have become obsessed... my 39 year old other half has joined in... and now... I bring you the collection of Lego® that has encompassed our lives and home... only a bit faster!
