Dark Twister was the creation of Dustin Beyette, it was the trademark of his works. Call it Dark Twister, Dark Twister Media, Dark Twister Productions. There was a website started called darktwistermedia.com that was a hub for all the video projects featuring his long-time collaborator, Jeremy "Bartlett" Barton as well as a place to put writings, and photography before there was Facebook, YouTube and Deviant Art.
The content of Dark Twister is often style over substance, a lot of stuff was improvised and on the fly. The artsy stuff was frequently based less on story, and more on tones and the audio/visual experience of watching it. The comedy stuff was either candid or sketch style comedy. With a wide variety of unusual characters and difficult to describe situations.
